61 Oxford StreetW1

A 21st century landmark, 61 Oxford Street is the first newbuild development to be delivered in the regeneration of the iconic shopping district’s previously neglected east end. A joint venture with British Airways Pension Trustees, the 70,000 sq ft six storey scheme comprises 35,000 sq ft of prime retail space occupied by Spanish retailer, Zara, two floors of Grade A office space and six high quality residential apartments.

Designed by Stirling Prize winning architects AHMM, the design takes inspiration from the curved glass of the 1930’s vase design by Alva Aalto and references London's tradition of retail display with minimal fenestration.

The site maximises a prominent corner location at the intersection of Oxford Street and Soho Street and will benefit from the opening of Crossrail at Tottenham Court Road station in 2018.

61 Oxford Street was awarded a 2016 RIBA National award - the most highly valued accolade in the industry, championing the best architecture across the UK.
